Hutchinson Hills/Willow Point Meetings...
The Hutchinson Hills/Willow Point Homeowners' Association (HH/WP HOA) meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month, September thru May at Samuels Elementary School, 3985 S. Vincennes Ct. Denver, CO in the Auditorium at 7:00pm. Our summer meetings, June thru August, are held at various neighborhood locations and will be announced at the May meeting.
District Directors Needed!
We are getting desperate for District Directors. Just in the last six months, over three have resigned and we have recently received notification that three more due to age and health are resigning.
We need residents to help deliver the quarterly newsletters in January, March, June and September. They will also need to collect dues from residents while delivering the September newsletters. The quarterly newsletters are available to be picked up at the respective month's meeting.
Without these very essential people, we cannot maintain a viable HOA...We need people to help out. The general population of the workers for the HOA is getting older and we need new interested people! Otherwise, we run the risk of losing our HOA, our VOICE with the City Council plus much more. Click here to email the HOA about your request to help out.
Protect your Home...
There have been a few neighborhood homes broken into in the past few months. One incident occurred while the homeowners were out to dinner. Here are a few tips to keep your home safe. Enable your home security system whenever you leave, even if your just out for a walk. Turn on your porch lights and some interior lights at dusk. Invest in some motion detector lights to brighten dark areas outside and in the backyard too. Lock all doors, windows and gates. Close your garage door as soon as you drive in. Bring in your trash/recycle barrel as soon as you can after pickup. Notify your neighbor when you leave home for an extended period of time. There are people who can watch your comings and goings from possibly a long way away. We do have a community technician with District #3 police that can come out to talk to sections of the neighborhood who want more information regarding how to set up a Neighborhood watch and post signs, etc.
